Fort Collins police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported Saturday evening at a popular city park.
Officers were called at 5:43 p.m. Saturday, 12/20/14, to Rolland Moore Park, 2201 S. Shields St., on a report of a robbery in progress. A suspect brandished a small semi-automatic handgun and demanded a wallet from a man who was walking in the park, Fort Collins police said.
The suspect fled and was described as a Hispanic man with a black hooded sweatshirt. Nobody was injured during the incident, and additional information was not immediately available Sunday.
