On April 29 at approximately 3:20 a.m. police responded to a report of disturbance outside the main gate to Woodward Governor, 1000 E. Drake Road. When officers arrived they found a 33 year-old man who had been assaulted by an unknown male.
According to the victim who was leaving work at the time, a vehicle was parked in the non-secure driveway outside Woodward Governor with a man yelling at a woman sitting in the passenger seat. The suspect exited his car and started walking westbound on Drake. The victim stopped his vehicle outside the business’ gate and the male attacked him while still seated in his car, ultimately pulling him from the vehicle and slamming him into the ground. The suspect and female passenger left westbound on Drake Road before officers arrived. The victim was transported to PVH for treatment of his injuries.
The suspect was described as being in his twenties with short dark hair and the female passenger had short, possibly brown, curly hair. Both are believed to be Caucasian and were in a dark colored four-door foreign vehicle, possibly a Honda or Nissan.
