FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Police Break Up Large Parties
Fort Collins police broke up several large parties Saturday evening in the Summerhill neighborhood near the 1700 block of Westbridge Road, off W. Prospect Road.
Shortly before 9 p.m., police responded to the area after receiving several party complaints and worked with the party hosts who voluntarily shut down their gatherings.

Police were called back to the neighborhood later in the evening after neighbors complained about the large crowds of approximately 300 people gathered in the street. Police responded again to disperse the partygoers who cooperated until the music was shut off. The crowd then became unruly and aggressive, breaking bottles, climbing on streetlight poles, cars, and trees, and throwing bottles at police.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., police used pepper ball, OC and CS gas to disperse the crowd.
Three people were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
No officers were injured.
