The attached photo was taken of the suspect during the robbery occurring at Key Bank at 300 W. Oak in Fort Collins on Friday August 14th. The suspect’s identity is not yet known. Police are seeking any information from the public that would lead to the identification of the suspect. POLICE INVESTIGATE KEY BANK ROBBERY
Fort Collins Police responded to a robbery at the Key Bank at 300 W. Oak Street on Friday August 14th, 2015 at approximately 3:38 p.m. A male entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money. The note claimed that the suspect had a gun but no gun was seen. An undisclosed amount of money was provided to the male and he fled the bank eastbound on foot. No employees were injured during the robbery and no customers were in the bank at the time.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with a stocky build, brown hair, and in his late forties or early fifties. He was wearing a blue windbreaker, blue jeans, and sun glasses.
The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown at this time if this robbery is related to the robbery of the Great Western Bank in Loveland on August 11th, 2015.
Police are seeking any information from the public about sightings of an individual matching this description in the vicinity of the robbery on Friday afternoon.
