Fort Collins Police are investigating after a man was stabbed Sunday, May 31, 2015, in Fort Collins near the downtown library.
The incident was reported at 7:35 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East Oak Street. A yet-unidentified 38-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen near Library Park and taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
Fort Collins Police Services Deputy Chief Cory Christensen didn’t yet have information about the man’s condition, as of about 9 p.m. Sunday.
The possible suspect is described as a white man, aged 35 to 40, between 6-foot to 6-foot-2, and wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. He might look like he’s been beaten up, Christensen said.
